The entire candle is made of wax. The wax is our special blend of cleaned and filtered beeswax and palm wax. We use natural cotton wick, essential oils, and fragrances, and eco-friendly dyes. Together they produce a clean burn. Once you have lit your Chantilly Low Light Candle, you will notice that the center burns straight down and ultimately extinguishes itself. You are then left with a wax container. Once this happens, simply replace it with your own tea or votive candle.
The Chantilly Low Light is inspired by the beautiful and delicate patterns and details of old french Chantilly lace. Its sculptural shape is created by carving the form from a foam block and the relief floral design is achieved by adding actual lace onto it. This model is used to make a mold from which each candle is hand-poured individually. The end result is a matte, old-world texture.

Please note that burning candles require constant attention. Start by trimming your wick to 1/4 of an inch. Burn your candle for only 4 hours at a time. NEVER leave your candle burning unattended and keep them away from drafty areas.
